Eugeniusz Piontek, full professor dr hab., lawyer and counsel, managing partner. At the University of Warsaw - head of the European Law Chair, Ad Personam Jean Monnet Chair: Reforming the European Union. During the years of 1969-1971, adviser to the Minister of Foreign Trade on GATT and EEC, and later until 1997, outside legal counsel of this ministry, among others. in bilateral agreement on protection and promotion of foreign investments (so called BIT). During the years of 1987-1991, member of the Polish delegation to the Uruguay Round of Multilateral Trade Negotiations, during the years of 1993-2001, member of a team of experts by the Office of the Committee for European Integration, and during the years of 2003-2007, member of a team of advisers to the Chairman of the Office for Protection of Competition and Consumer Interests. During the years of 1999-2004 served as panelist and arbiter at the World Trade Organization. Moreover, among others, member of the Legislative Council during the years of 1987-1991, during the years of 1990-2007, member of the Programme Council of the Center of European Law at King’s College of the University of London, in 1993, member of the team qualifying candidates for members of supervisory boards in State Treasury companies. Among his achievements as lawyer and counsel are, among others, introduction unto the Polish market and servicing of several large foreign companies and also legal assistance to domestic enterprises, especially, although not only, in restructuring and privatisation, as well as, in competition law and prevention of unfair market practices and also public assistance, distribution contracts, etc.

null Andrzej W. Wi¶niewski, dr law sciences, senior lecturer at the Department of Law and Administration UW in the Institute of International Private and Trade Law, legal counsel, general partner. Specialist in trade law and international contracts, arbiter and deputy chair of the Arbitration Court by the Chamber of Commerce in Vienna. Among others, in the name of the National Chamber of Legal Counsels, member of the team on company law at CCBE in Brussels. In the past, deputy director of the Center for Information and Legal Services PIHZ, during the years of 1979-1984, head of the team of legal counsels at “BUMAR”; 1984-1986, legal counsel at “UNIVERSAL”, Steel Works in Stalowa Wola and other. Currently, arbiter in numerous disputes between Polish and foreign firms, provides legal assistance to enterprises in a wide spectrum of corporate relations and contracts. 

null Marcin Piontek, legal counsel, general partner. Placements abroad at such law firms as: Taylor Vinters Solicitors (Cambridge), Atkin Chambers and Grays Inn (London); training at the European Commission in Brussels in structural funds; specialist in corporate and civil law and also transactions in electronic trading. In various periods, he provided legal services to, among others, such firms as Dow Chemical, Alliance Capital, Norwich Union, British Telecom, and General Electric; as permanent legal adviser at Business Center Club, provides legal assistance to several domestic and foreign companies in Poland.

 

null Rafał W±worek, lawyer, general partner with extensive experience in legal services, including court representation for natural and legal persons; provides legal assistance, among others, for several foreign companies including Spanish, Belgian and French, and also domestic, in a wide range of trade and civil law relations, as well as, intellectual property law. His past professional experience includes, among others, work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as a correspondent for Spanish press in Poland.


Our Chancellery cooperates also with a group of renown law specialists gathered around the Department of Law and Administration of UW; this includes the sphere Polish and European Labor Law with Prof. Dr hab. Ludwik Florek; in the sphere of Polish and European agricultural law with Prof. dr hab. Paweł Czechowski, or in the sphere of corporate and civil law with dr hab. Adam Opalski and with many others depending on specific needs resulting from tasks entrusted to us. 
For larger and more complex projects, we create respectively profiled, in knowledge and capabilities, working teams with external proven law specialists. 

The team of general partners and limited partners is supported by full-time staff – applicants and placementees, who together comprise the auxiliary law personnel at the Chancellery along with the administrative and technical personnel.
